Brazos Progressives and the Red Wasp Film Festival are pleased to be partnering with Village Cafe & Art979 Gallery for an Independent Film Series! The second installment of this series will be Sunday, April 26, 3:00 pm, at Village Cafe & Art979, 210 W. 26th Street, in downtown Bryan, TX. Each month, the series will feature films from past Red Wasp festivals. Also, great organic food from the Village Cafe menu will be available for purchase, so…enjoy some great food while you watch films!
Part 2 will feature Mark Beal’s film “Life Study,” a drama centered around the struggles of three characters who are linked by a drawing class. “Life Study” runs just under 90 minutes. Mark will be attending, so there will be a short Q&A immediately following the screening.
Finally, this series, like Red Wasp, is intended for adults, so parents should keep this in mind. Many of the films contain adult language and themes. We have had teenagers (and some younger kids) attend Red Wasp with their parents, but…parents really need to make this choice for their kids.
Hope to see you there!
